Balisongs in WA state

I recently discovered that Washington State absolutely forbids automatics, even for collectors. Can anyone tell me if Washington State law considers the Balisong as a gravity, automatic or centrifugal force knife that falls under that law? Someone said that Bernard Levine's forum had links to all of the state laws but I could not find the link. Thanks to all.

Yep, pretty sad tale. If I pack up and move my stuff across the Columbia River into Oregon, I can have all I want. But drive a couple more minutes up HWY 101 and WHOA THERE! That knife just got dangerous all of a sudden. Man I feel safer up here in WA, don't you?

I don't know of any court decisions that may have been handed down regarding whether or not a bali is opened by centrifugal force or not. Ya might e-mail Mr. Levine on that one.
