Ball-bearing, Gut-hook Hunter

Here's another version of my ball-bearing damascus...

... This wide blade is about 7" long and I did my standard BB damascus canister (1/4" 52100 ball bearings and 1084 powder) then twisted and folded the steel. The guard and pommel are also BB damascus with nickle damascus spacers behind the guard, red fuller and stabilized/grey dyed Maple Burl.

Nice one J. That pattern really pops, and the red fuller sets the whole piece off. Badass guthook! :thumbup:

Another nice one. I really like ball bearing damascus. That pattern seems to really compliment the burl in the handle as well. Almost looks like you planned that.
