I just took a Kershaw Shallot from nearly hitting the handle opposite the lock-bar to sitting a little bit closer to the lockbar side just by whacking the detent down a bit.
Note, I lost the original detent and this is a replacement, so I guess this is my first time installing a ball detent in a folder. It's surprising how big of a difference a few hundredths of an inch can make.
