Ballistic Knife Law

Since I have joined this forum I have been going through boxes of cool stuff and picking out old pocket knives and such.
Anyway to make a long story short I found my old ballistic knife that I think I bought in '84, looked up the laws and pulled and destroyed the spring.

My Question is...am I legal now?
 
I hope you suffer an awful and painful after-life, and as soon as possible. Have you ever heard the term.....out of site, out of mind. :rolleyes:
