Can anyone tell me what a Schrade Old Timers 152 is worth? It's 1980's vintage if I remember correctly.

Thanks,
jack

A quick scout of eBay completed auctions showed final bids ranging from $15-35 approximately. Of course, mint in box or other packaging with all the enclosures complete bring the highest prices, and used knives with poor or no sheaths bring the lower prices. Special editions, gift sets, earlier fancy boxed editions fetch more as well. Some of the earliest scrimshaws in mint complete boxed condition might bring $100 or more (1976-78), and the GDOT special issues sell for higher sums as well. A run of the mill, lightly used Sharpfinger and excellent sheath generally goes for $25-35, unless the bidder's blood-lust is up for some reason. I have posted research on the Sharpfinger pattern here and it might help you to guess the approximate age of your knife, as well as be "more than you ever wanted to know about Uncle Henry Baer's Sharpfinger"!!
