Baltimore Antique Arms Show, Anybody going?

Nope, not that one. :D Looking for an M39?

Just ordered a Tula/Hex/laminate Mosin-Nagant 91/30.

The M-N heads know what this is...

Good luck with your search, and don't forget ammo- $30 of ammo can cost $15 to ship. (So that's why last time I upped it to $200 worth, for the same $15 shipping... I'm saving money... right?) :foot:

Is that show any good? I live an hour's drive north of there. any blades down at that show?

I'm not an M-N head, but I can guess.
Arsenal, receiver shape, stock , original model/rebuild

How'd I do?:)

100% :D :foot:

Tula arsenal is considered more collectable (though likely not actually much better), hex recievers ARE stronger and are the basis of my beloved M39's and the laminate stock is really neat- they were put on after the war, and can be tiger-striped-lookin', which I *naturally* like.

Whatcha' lookin' for? Ethnic blades and cannons, I bet.

My understanding is that there are Antique edged weapons dealers from all over the world. I think it's the premier show for the East Coast. They don't allow modern handguns.

Supposedly a lot of etnic blades, India, Afganistan, Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, SE Asia, Africa.

I'll be driving 7 hours to get there.

Was there last year. Good show a few bargains. You are right, no modern guns.

No modern made blades that I saw. Bought a good Bhutanese dagger (Very similar to a Tibetan dagger) with ray skin covered scabbard. Good hairpin patterned blade.

Also two Sea Dayak swords 100 years plus old.

Was with a good friend who bought a wonderful Soloman Islands paddle from a guy who really did not know what he had.

You must go to this Timmonium. Email Artzi Yoram and get in on this. The Baltimore Arms Show is really good, but this is better! Take some of your best old blades for "Show and Tell." This programm takes place during the Baltimore Arms Show and will be a highlight of your trip!

They usually have three or four good speakers and a free dinner. Actually the whole program is free thanks to Artzi.

I won't be there this year, but you will love this program at Timmonium.
