Baltimore CRV collectors

Hi, I am freaking out!!!
I am in the Baltimore/DC area and looking for any other CRV collectors. I found out that he is going to be at the knife store in my area - Annapolis and I want to be there!!!
I am so excited I don't know what to do. Which knife do I take - or just take all three!!! I have to get some more information.
The store is Chesapeake Knife and Tool and the date is Oct 23 in the morning. I think he will also be in VA on the 22nd.
Is there anyone in the PA or MD or VA area that may want to meet him, get autographs or knives signed and maybe then go out for lunch together to talk Knives???

I know about the show , but i just dont know what to wear. I have to go thru my closet and find something :eek: ..Just kidding , but let us all know how it went and maybe a few pics. :D

I would take my nicest one and ask him to sign the box.

Be sure to ask him about the new Umfaan; what will it look like, what size, when released, wood inlay, etc.

Also, ask him about making an automatic Sebenza. :D
 
Well, signing the box is a great idea. I hadnt thought of that. (D'oh!!)

As for directions, call a store I think. I know there are two 'events', according to their website - www.chesapeakeknifeandtool.com - one is in Tysons corner mall in va Friday night Oct 22.

And the one I will be at is in Annapolis Mall in MD on Saturday morning the 23rd. And I only live a few minutes from Annapolis so I don't need directions. I can tell you it is right off of rte 50 on the way to the eastern show of MD.
I think Tysons corner is the west/south side of DC beltway. (495?) And it is a pretty big mall. I know the store is near the Rainforest Cafe there.

It will be nice to meet some other CRK fans and get to talk to him about his designs...and shake those famous hands!!! The website said they will have some other Chris Reeve knives there and DOOR PRIZES!!!!!

I bug the manager at annapolis ck&T all time about her knives. trying to get more customs in there. seems there is too much productions knives and not enough really good stuff. sigh.

I would suggest not doing this as Mr. Reeve is against making a Sebenza automatic and you'll just make him mad.

You let the cat out'a da bag. Gray was setting him up.

Seriously Betts, he puts his pants on one leg at a time just like the rest of us. If you want to really be impressed, come out to ID and visit the shop and meet the folks who actually make all those knives and maintain the quality that has earned the Manufacturers Quality Award 4 times now. My hats of to them! :)
 
I heard they will be selling his knives for up to half ff, Yea i know i havent been around for awhile, but im deffinetly going, i NEED a sebenza!
 
Half off makes it a worth while trip! And they will have some William Henry's there too.
Pants on one leg at a time eh? I was hoping that he jumped into them and danced around! LOL! oh well. It will be a fun morning anyway. Just to meet up with some fellow knife lovers.

Well, sorry, it seems ou can win the chance to purchase for half off, although Chespeake is pretty expensive anyway.
