BAM: New super-slick material

Hm, more wear resistant pivots and washers and new coating for Dark Ops. "It'll stab through person 23% easier, and the blood will wash off 50% faster!"

If it can handle heat, it'll be great for lining cylinders and pistons in engines.

Maybe drill bits out of BAM to cut through S30v and Titanium, it would probally be sheaper than ones with diamonds.

First of all, I wonder how much this stuff will cost.

I'd go with what Brutus said, pivots and washers would be great.

That said, I'm curious about this part:

Its slipperiness is also not entirely understood. Although Russell says the best theory is that the boron interacts with oxygen to make tiny amounts of boron oxide on its surface. They would attract water molecules from the air, to make a slippery coating.

Hmm... if this theory is correct, do I really want something on my knife that will attract water?

Yes. They wouldn't be recommending it as a lube for steel parts if it corroded those parts.
