I was enjoying some of the recent tank buster pics that were posted, and I realized I haven't seen a single tank buster in bama clay  :(

If you've got a bama clay TB, let us know! Better yet, post some pictures!

I would buy one for myself, but I'm saving my pennies for a bushwhacker.

I didn't order a tank buster period. It's similar enough to the satin jack tac, which I prefer.

I just wish my sjtac was b.c. So for now I just hope to see OTHERS who have b.c. tank busters and live vicariously through them :D

It is a shame that all the deep colourful snakeskin has gone....a Bama Clay and snakeskin mix would be a nice "purple toned" knife....not my cup of tea....but such is the enthusiasm of MM for Bama Clay that you cannot help thinking along the same lines to try to help....

If I were MM I would try for a SHSJ in snakeskin which was a popular combo at the time and send it in to be coated in Bama Clay. It would be expensive but as the only SHSJ in that combo his investment would be "safe". Good design as well the SHSJ and probably another example of being a hard to beat "old school" classic.

There's no such thing as a "safe investment" for me. The only Busse I own and haven't used yet is the BOSS Street. And that's pretty much just because I haven't gotten around to it.

Bama Clay is awesome looking, and I love it on users, but I'm not paying old-school collector's item prices for knives I'm gonna beat the snot out of. I wouldn't own the Bama Clay FSH if I didn't find an awesome proxy to hook me up with the one on the table at Blade West. No way would I pay second-hand FSH prices, even for bama clay

Now come on, SOMEONE has to have a tank buster in the BEST color Jerry sells on any of his knives..... let's see it!!!!!

EDIT: now that I think about it, if I ever wear the coating down enough on this knife, I will definitely send it in for a Bama Clay coating....

I just ordered a second Tank Buster today, and chose Bama Clay as the blade finish. I chose (non-Magnum) Tan Canvas Micarta for the handles, and the following options: Choil, Heavy Swedge, Plain Edge, and Rounded Butt.

Don't know how I missed the replies to this thread - looking forward to some Lunde-style photographic sweetness including that sexy, sexy bama clay
