Please forgive me if there is already a thread devoted to this; I cannot seem to find one.
Bamba Forge:
From what their website says, they are some sort of NPO that works in Uganda, teaching impoverished young men knife-making so they have a marketable skill, and then they sell the knives they make to continually support the program . I think all the steel is salvaged spring steel.
Anyway, a little while back, I bought one of their sharpfingers, and it is really quite nice. It also came with a very nice sheath. It will never be mistaken for any sort of custom knife, nor can it be confused for a mass-produced knife. But where it's coming from and why it was made make for a backstory as good as any.

I like it! How's the steel?
A few years ago I watched one that was up for sale for over a year. I would check on it every couple months but never pulled the trigger,....regrets. It wasn't a sharp finger blade like yours, maybe a drop point if I am remembering right. It had the black and white ebony handles too, that what aways caught my eye.

I haven't used it much (I have little use for a fixed blade), but I did sharpen it. But, to answer your question, the steel feels a bit soft to me.
