Vladimir Kolenko (Bambara) recently sent this Mammoth beauty to me. It is a truly beautiful creation from a design perspective and with Vlads' exquisite materials and workmanship, an absolutely outstanding Art piece.
The Spider-Web damascus blade (7", 11.75"OA) is very unique. The Damascus bar was made by Robert Calcinore.
The precious Garnets, Opals, Stirling Silver and filigree work grace an exceptionally beautiful Mammoth ivory handle. Presented vertically on it's Gabon Ebony stand, also encrusted with gems and silver, this one just takes your breath away!!
Thanks Vladimir for this fabulous piece...a treasure to have.

Robert

Now that is something any ART knife collector would love to own. Great looking and as said there is a lot of WOW!! factor involved.

Hello Robert!

Really exquisite piece with a WOW factor! ;) I have seen a bit of Vlad's work in the exchange lately and have thought how well crafted they look, but your's definitely is a real gem!

Hope of enjoy it for a long time!

Best regards,
Alex

PS: interesting enough, despite all the gem stones, this one did not ring my "art knife" bells at all...
