Thanks for the vid. I have never thought about using Boo but I will give it a try after watching the vid. Did you place a hardwood insert in the spindle or are you using the node?

Nice one man! I've done the bamboo fire saw a couple of times but never tried to use it for a bow drill. I'm going to have to give that a try. It's great that potentially the spindle, hearth, bow, tinder nest, and first fuel can all be made from the same material![]()
