So it's been 5 days since BLADE ended........When can I get one?

I have been looking for a good carbon steel 4.5" - 5" fixed blade for camping to replace my F1. Here I find it at BLADE and I can't get it yet.

Have I mentioned I am not a patient person.
 
As far as I know these knives are not available yet but should be soon. Check their website and forums: http://swampratknifeworks.com/

Swamp Rat makes great knives but if you are not a patient person you might have a problem. Some knives may not be instantly and constantly available so sometimes there is a waiting period.
 
Just hoping I can get one before October. I have a 4 day camping trip planned and would love to take a Bandicoot LM along.

October is still a few months away so your chance of getting this knife is probably good. I'd suggest checking the Swamp Rat website and their "company store" website frequently. Some of these knives come and go pretty fast.

Sorry I missed this earlier.

This is a Bandicoot LM

It is part of the new line soon to be available. (the first of the new line, the M6, has already been introduced and sold in small quantities)

The Bandicoot LM is the micarta version of the old style Bandicoot. The LM stands for Little Mischief, the style of the handle.

Eric: Does this mean that the Coot will be part of the new lineup for sure? Please say it's so! And remember if it isn't, dibs on the display knife!:D
 
hmmm not seeing the updated Howler. maybe the rat hunter and howler mated. My old HR is definatly well used, and been waiting a while for a version with scales. Same design, just scales. Great knife, does everything.

there was a pic of the new howler posted somewhere, it is totally sweet.:thumbup:
