Bandicoot penetrator tip

Just bringing this up later because it crossed my mind. I bought this 'Coot used a couple of years ago. It is no longer among my cheese. I always meant to ask other Coot owners but it always slipped my mind.

Did your Coot penetrator tip look like this?? Short but very deep. The typical PTs have been longer and more shallow. I *do* believe it was factory.

And yes, it has a rather unique penetrator tip, I havent seen one like it since. If that is my old one I did the sanding on the spine. The coating was bunged up so I took it to the grinder.

Hmmm... that one may have been yours, Dwayne. I honestly don't recall who I got it from now.

I'll have to look at mine when I get home. I can't visualize the PT right now, though I don't remember it looking very odd. I'm in the process of putting a vinegar/mustard patina on it. I had stripped it a while ago and wanted to do something cool with the naked steel to prevent rusting. Looks good so far. I'll get back to you on the PT.

Just checked mine and it is short but not very deep.
