I've been friction cutting Ti with the same blade for the last 6-8 years. It was bimetal, 18 tpi, and .75" width, and likely came frome Lowes. It broke today. Does anyone have a go-to for this application or do you find anything similar works well enough? I tried spinning up a Lenox Diemaster, but it failed to cut well at all, different width and thickness though.

If I got 6-8 years out of a bandsaw blade, I don't think I'd be looking for any other brand than the one I got 6 to 8 years out of.

You cut more Ti than me heh. But you're right, I take that back....I had 2 of those blades in that time. It was whatever Lowes, maybe HD, had for metal cutting. I'll check there again, maybe luck out.

also turn your blade inside out so the teeth face up,,, best for friction cutting
