Does anyone know of a source for bimetal bandsaw blades? I have been searching for 93 1/2" (also listed as 7' 9-1/2") blades to fit a DELTA bandsaw but I have not found a source. Also, are HSS blades sufficiently tough for cutting blade stock or is bimetal the way to go?
Thanks! :)

MSC does list a Lenox Bi-Metal Band Saw Blade. Teeth Per Inch: 14-18.
There are listings for 14tpi HSS blades but only 14-18tpi for bi-metal blades. I am confused about the 14-18tpi specification. Does that mean its got enough teeth or too many teeth per inch for my application?
Thanks again!

Go to this site and click on their online catalog icon, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on bi-metal bandsaw blades. They sell Ellis blades and they are the absolute toughest blade I've ever used. I cut titanium, brass, wood, micarta, g10, all blade steels, you name it and they just won't quit. The one thats on my saw right now has been in use for atleast 8 months and it still cuts fine.

I use a 18tpi bi-metal for all my cutting needs, thats Ti and blade stock also after it don't cut S60V to good any more it gets shuffeld back to cutting handle matl.
My source for blades is : Ellis Mfg. in Verona Wi ph# 800-383-5547
I get 5'4 1/2" X 1/2" they cost $15.00 ea. bout half the cost from some supply places. Your size could be more $. But still cheaper than most places.
Call em and tell em what you need.

p.s. HSS won't last to long on most applications involving "Hi-Tech" matls.
