I have a sears craftsman bandsaw and am wondering where I can find a good bi-metal bandsaw blade for it. It should be around 80 inches. Craftsman does make them, but they don't last long enough. I think that some of the catalogs might offer custom blades but i'm not sure.
Thanks
Chuck

I picked up some bi-metal bandsaw blades from Harbor Freight for about $13 each, half of what K&G is charging. I haven't got them yet so I can't comment on their quality.

I bought two Ellis bimetal blades bout three months ago. Still haven't worn out the first one yet. Their number is 18003835547. They were only $16 and some change. The best I've ever used, and they make the blades themselves so they'll cut them to the size you need. Take care! Michael

"The Best" blades I've found so far are Starrett Powerband Matrix 2 bimetal blades. Rutland tool and Supply can get them for you. They're expensive, +$20, but I only use one of them every six months or so. Pretty amazing, considering how many knives, 304SS bolsters, and other materials I cut.
