Bang for buck in watches...

I just wanted to gather opinions on your favorite low dollar/high quality time pieces. Everybody knows about G-Shocks, the Timex Ironman, and the like, but what else can I score for under a 100 bucks (quartz, digital, auto, mech)? I'll start the list off with my latest, greatest 20 dollar find: The Vostok Amphibian.
I found this one surprisingly at Restoration Hardware, a mall store here at the St. Louis Galleria. Having seen Vostoks on the Russian Souvenier website, I was pretty familiar with what they were but seeing as the watches were not marked I was skeptical about the price(when's the last time you got a deal at a mall  ) It turns out that they were on clearance which brought the price down to $20. Needless to say, I bought a few.
Overall, the Amphibian is a rock solid watch. They have an automatic 31 jewel movement (albeit pretty inaccurate, just like a Poljot) and feature a screw down case back and crown. The friction bezel is a change of pace to my ratcheting Omega, but I can get used to it.
Thanks guys,
Matt

I don't have one yet, but my next work watch will be a Casio Edifice (sp?). About $30 most anywhere. I work in a factory and my watch takes a pretty good beating. Plastic watches just don't hold up for me so I'll give this stainless steel little beauty a workout in the coming year.

The Timex Camper's Watch (not the indiglo stuff) can be had for under $20.00 at WallyWorld or similar low-end retailers. I've owned a couple & beat the crap out of them & they've held up well.

I have two Citizen Eco-Drive, Seiko 5, Poljot manual wind, Citizen Automatic, Orient Automatic, several others but these are the ones I consider great buys. Sorry, I don´t know models or calibers.

Where did you see the Orient....have never heard of that brand. Poljot is also a great Russian brand for less. I bought my Aviator watch from Dave at www.invictas4less.com and got a great deal/service. I think I'm going to get another band for my Vostok, as the one that came with it is fairly short and thin. I like the extra comfy padded strap that came with my Poljot. Damn thing will make your wrist sweat even when it's 32* out.

I got it at a local place in Mexico.

I did a Google search and didn´t find much, here´s what appears to be the company page:

I did find some in Ebay, but at prices higher than what I paid here, mine is an simple automatic with day/date, at about $35 U.S.

Ooops!, edited to correct on the price I paid, I had written 30, but now that I think about it, it was more like $35 U.S.

One interesting/curious thing about this and other Orients is having a separate button for changing the day, that´s the name of the day, not the date number, I can see the convinience of a button for the date to change to 1 after a 30 day month, but the day name shouldn´t have to be changed much, strange...
