It's a bit of a novelty to have firearms in Australia. Well it is for me anyway. We were having a BBQ with some friends today at their house - bangers and bacon. Oh yeah!

And then we busted out the other bangers with the Busses for a show-n-tell...

An interesting piece was an old Colt revolver, presented to my friends Great Grandfather in 1879 as a gift from the police for capturing a bushranger.

Great pics, I love the last pic, cracked me up. I love that massive Busse, cool machete. I think they should restore that old colt or at least put it in a nice case or frame and preserve it. I love ones with history.

d762 -- "bangers" are another name for sausages/brats.

That is one reason I could never move to Australia, or any number of other countries. If I can't have all my guns, I won't live there!

Your bud must be "elite" or some sort of military or law enforcement to be priviledged to own guns!
 
Last pic is a good Zombie killing combo--a 240 grainer to the head and a MOAB thru the torso--this will even stop a "super Zombie".

Awesome, especially the old engraved Colt. I was another one who was expecting some nicely grilled sausages; maybe made out of kangaroo or some other such exotic Aussie fare.
