Since Infi isn't a "stainless" steel, how come I've never seen one of the naked blades with a patina? Is it stainless enough that it doesn't take one? Or does everyone just keep them polished up?

If anyone has any pictures of one with a patina I'd love to see it. Same question for SR101.

Here is a small patch on a Custom SAR I recived in the Knob Creek Extravaganzza. It is SR101.

Yeah, I have to keep my naked Hell Razor polished. After a bit of use it starts to discolor. I try to keep it lightly oiled, and a good rub with a towel now and then keeps it looking nice.
I'll post a pic when I get 'er dirty agian.
I'll also get a pic of an abrasive pad from Sears that chucks into a drill that I use. It's amazing at polishing a blade.

Thanks guys. I was hoping to see one with that all over dark patina like the old Solingen steel or good chef's knives get- I bet it would look cool. Maybe now that I'll have more than one Busse (Yeaaa!) I'll try stripping one- probably not for awhile, though.

Basically it's about as stainless as ats-34, but doesn't rust and pit like alot of stainlesses, at worst you get light rust speckles which polish right out, usually just a very light patina on well loved blades.
