Here is a fine Gelbu Special made and marked by Kumar. The khukuri is 18 inches and weighs 1.75 pounds. Fit is very good, finish you can tell by the reflections, and hardness is 58 to 59 Rc in the chopping area. Pretty sharp but not shaving. The only thing really wrong with this knife is a cracked handle -- a crack about an inch long and narrow, a super glue fix.

Karda and chakma are very good and about 6 & 3/8 inches long.

Scabbard is made and tooled by sarki with no name -- Himalayas and Swayambunath temple. Frog is HI 100 year superfrog, no rivets, all stiched.
