Well just won this knife on ebay as the only bidder. Made in 2k, in a clam shell and well new and unused. This is the Warren Thomas design with the carbon fiber, VG10, and carbon fiber scales. I am trying to pick up another but a ltd ed model for the Mission Impossible movie. I htink the first movie. No one bid on that one so it went unbid. I belive it is number 67 or some such thing. I know they didn't produce many of that particular knife from what I could find out. I asked my brother who is good with friends with a prop master at some studio so he did some checking and frankly he said only the cast and crew recieved them as far as he could tell.

All that plathering being said who knows anything about these knives? Paid just shy of 60 bucks and shipping of course. Any and all info is appreciated. keepem sharp

It's a very well made linerlock knife made in Seki City Japan, chisel grind, tanto.

I believe it uses the same blade as the Beretta Electra below. It is a good knife for what you picked it up for.

i had one when it first came out, i got it for 110.00,but there were 2 problems.real bad up & down blade play & the liner went all the way to the other side;& the carbon fiber flaked at the edges & at the edges of many of the square pattern from carrying.this flaking has also happened with the crkt m16 carbon fiber, too.you started to see what looked like tiny spots of missing specks of the pattern from the reflective pattern...........

Wow, that's terrible. Maybe first production run flaws? A buddy of mine has one and likes it a lot.
Beretta typically has top Japanese makers making their knives - Moki, for example.

Frankly though I don't know all that much about this knife - although I have several other Beretta
knives and the workmanship on them is excellent.

Anyway, hope longbow got a good one!

Thanks for the info folks. Hope it is OK. Emailed the sellar to try and get the other one too but he already relisted it. He said as far as he can tell the workmanship is first rate. I wonder how they get the carbon fiber on the blade? I remember when they first came out I wanted one but didn't and can't remember why now. Keepem sharp and I'll report when I get it.
