Does anyone know the RC hardness of Bark Rivers 3v? Just wondering because its not listed anywhere ive seen. I was wondering if their heat treat is as good as others such as Survive knives. I'm looking at a Bravo 1 and want to check around before I spend the money. Anyone have any feedback?

For my money, they are as good as it gets. You will get a ton of other opinions. I have a million knives and I could choose anything, when I hunt, I use a Bark River Fox River in 3V. (I used to use the A2 version, but recently upgraded.) :)

Thanks for the help. This will be my first 3v blade and ive read that it needs to be at a certain hardness to bring out the best qualities of the steel.

You will not be disappointed. They have an excellent warranty. I have the Aurora in 3v and that thing kicks butt. You will hear mixed opinions though. Just remember, if you experience any problems (I doubt you will), Bark River will stand by their product.
