Bark River Bravo 1.25 with more belly and taller blade

Hi

I am thinking of buying a Bark River Bravo 1.25 LT, but I would like to know if there is another model with a taller blade and more belly.

I find the Bravo blade not really tall enough and the belly is bit weak. I like tall blades with a good belly like on this Helle for example (which is way too small for my hand).

I’m not super familiar with Bark River. The Bravo II caught my eye. I ordered a 1909 Michigan Bowie, will be here tomorrow. It’s a massive knife and I got it to replace the Fallkniven Tor I got rid of a little while ago. Like I said I don’t know about Bark River’s QC, but the knife looks good and I decided to take a $300 gamble. If you don’t like it, you can resell it and probably re-coup the majority of your less.
 
I was thinking another Bark River model, but you're right shane45-1911 shane45-1911 Lionsteel make blade profiles I really like, like the for the M3 (smaller but nice blade).

I'm not looking for a huge knife, hence the Bravo 1.25.
The UP is too pointy for my taste.

Carothers is nice yes. So there's no Bark River model that match my criteria?

Vulture Cholera !! ;) the name is not appealing, and the style of the blade is too aggressive for me ;)
 
Take a look at the BRK Bravo Squad Leader. I have the first version without the fuller and like that one more than the regular Bravos.
 
Yes the Squad Leader is a good idea, the blade is taller. However I don't want a clip point and the blade is 5.5 mm thick... It's a lot.
Do you think I could ask BRK for a Bravo with a blade as tall as the Squad Leader ?

I doubt that would fit their production schedule and the blanks they use.

I see a custom knife in your future... :-)
