Well, I did it, the 1.5 in 3V is in the mail on the way to me.

I've got a Bravo 1 and a Bravo 2 in A2, and I've been looking for that
perfect "in-between" knife for splitting my firewood after I section
it with my Silky saw.

The Bravo 2 gets used a lot, but I think it could be an inch or two shorter,
the Bravo 1 OTOH, is just a bit short for such a stout knife.

I wanted a beefy knife in as lightweight a carry as possible (for backpacking),
one that would fit in the medium Spec Ops sheath,
as well be a good all around camp knife.

If I understand my homework, I think this may be just the ticket.

I'll post up photos when it gets here.

Any other takers?

I've been eyeing one myself. But I dropped almost a grand on knives this month, and there's still a moderately long list of knives I want, so I'll have to put it on hold for the time being.

I have a Bravo 1 in red elder burl and I love it! Love the sheaths as well, sharpshooter know their stuff!

I saw those and thought they ar pretty cool, a bit on the pricey side though. I've got about a dozen bark rivers and blackjacks and love them all

Do come back with an update> I am especially interested if 1.5 has any advantage over regular and how it fill in the hand ie balance point (index finger as the regular..perfect balance.. or blade heavy as I suspect)
