The Bark River Bravo 2 gets very little mention. Does anyone have one? Does anyone use one? I'd be interested to hear your opinions, especially about the 3v version. It looks like it could be a good camp knife.
I don't particularly want to hear controversial stuff about Bark River, I'm more interested in any user comments.

It is a good camp knife. Don't own one but I have the Wilderness Explorer model that BRK makes and I like it. Some folks take exception to their handles being too slick. My thought is... just how often does someone with this complaint actually use a knife like in the field versus just making a comment about nicely finished handles and their characteristics. My fixed blade use is very limited and it seldom lasts (the use time) for more than 30 minutes.

I had one in A2 and did use it camping multiple times. It worked fine. No problems but it didn't blow me away. I don't care for leather so I had a kydex sheath made which adds cost.

I moved on from brkt after finding out about the many issues the company has had. Sold all of them.

For the cost I would look elsewhere, even if you have to pay a bit more. Something from cpk would be at the top of my list. Better quality, design, and materials and an even better company.

I don't own a Bravo 2 but I own a 1 (A2 steel) and a few others.
Very good knives and have served me well. Now, no real hard use...
I love their leather sheaths and will be buying more in time.
