Good thing it's got that finger choil on it so you can choke up on it for fine work.

I wanted one, a long time ago. Even had one preordered with KSF before he lost his list of preorders.

Something about it looks off to me now that I see the real thing. Like it was designed by committee. The handle, the lanyard thing, the ramp, the position of the blade to the handle... it just looks weird to me.

Could be awesome in hand, of course. Hard to say.

I don't think I'm gonna take the gamble on it, though. Got burned on the last few Bark River's I bought, and the last one of that size in particular.

It's a big knife for sure, but it seems like that picture is kinda intentionally misleading about the size. Unless those binoculars actually have lenses the size of corby bolts, that is. :p

Details?

Quality control issues. A 10" bowie I picked up a couple of years ago had a very crooked blade. Dale at T-K-C took it back and gave me a refund with no trouble. But I've had issues with uneven grinds and unevenly-shaped handles scales on a few others.

If I could handle them in person and pick a good one, I'd get one. But I can't.

Judging by the fact that 17" knife is almost as long as that ar. I'd say your right lol

looks very cool
im guessing more than 300 because of the amount of 3v and the amount off finish work
idk if i would buy one though

I saw this pop up a while back, looks pretty cool to me. I have a Bravo 1 in S35VN and I really like the knife. I would highly doubt that this thing ends up under $300, that is very wishful thinking. I wouldn't go so far as saying they are competing with Busse though. They just happen to be 2 companies that make a product for a specific niche market. Of the two BRKT is more mainstream as they have stock that is available to retailers, where the only place to really get Busse knives is from Busse (not counting any "Ganza" action or secondary market sales).

Here is another picture of it compared to the Bravo II. Rumor is it will be under $300.

I found some 2009-2010 threads that said it would be $500+ in a very limited run. I think 3V may have come down a little in price (and rarity) since then. $300 may be a pipe dream, but there is no reason with a decent size run that it should be more than $350ish.

The Busse comparison is tricky since the mysticism and limited nature of the Busse marketing machine.(I have a couple Busse's, but I am not a Busse fan boy).

From a re-sale standpoint, I have never lost a dime on a Busse re-sale. I can't say the same about a BRKT, though this statement has nothing to do with quality, just resale value.
