Wondering if any of you guys used the 3V version of the bravo necker 2. I'm considering to buy one, but always like to check before :D
If you have used please leave your rating, or if you have any other knife to suggest with similar specs, please dont hesitate to tell it
Thx

I cannot speak for the shorter (Necker 1) version as I don't own one, but the Necker 2 in 3V goes head-to-head with most of my outdoors knives and doesn't break a sweat. I only wish the handles were expoxied on and the blade didn't have the useless and painful jimping. But otherwise, it's golden.

I don't have a 3V version b/c I picked up a very nice used 12C27 version off the for sale section here. The knife (w/handles) is great. Big enough and tough enough for just about anything. Slices very well and holds a wicked edge. The 3V version is a tougher steel but takes a bit of care unless you put a patina on it. If you are worried about cost.. I don't think there is anything the 12C27 version can't do that the 3V version could.. except the 12C27 version will be more rust resistant, and the 3V will probably hold a better edge longer. But a quick strop and both are sharp again in mins. I prefer the Necker 1 to the Necker 2 size. So your decision will be better rust resistance vs edge holding.
