Sometimes, but rarely, especially since they already offer so many different knives. Usually, Barkie owners get individuality by purchasing one of the special handle/scale materials that BRKT offers. Sometimes, people can pitch a design that they will decide to make a special run.

You should ask Mike Stewart directly at the "other" knifeforum, where he moderates his own section. He's very good at answering questions.
 
Yup, pretty much what has already been said.

If you check the production schedule, you can pre-order an upcoming model and specify your choice of handle material, mosaic pins, liners, etc.

But you can't special order a particular model of knife, you have to wait and see if and/or when it comes around on the production schedule.

BRKT are currently flat out trying to keep up with existing orders and in process of expanding. Good luck with trying to get an one off!
 
I was on a turquoise 'kick' awhile back and asked Mike if he could make me a custom Teddy Hunter with stag & 2 spacers of turquoise. He was very helpful with a couple of other requests as well. Touch base with Mike... he'll answer your question.

as was stated before he has a million combinations. but if you want more get in touch with him. i had a quick question, so called him and ended up talking with him for 20 or 30 minutes. he answered ever question, he seems like a good guy.
