Bark River dealers in Canada

I'm looking to buy a Bark River Fox River soon and i've only found the one Canadian retailer so far that's listed on their site. They don't have any fox rivers. I'm afraid that if i buy from a US dealer i'll get charged ridiculous brokerage fees when i have it shipped. Does anyone know of a dealer in Canada besides Bushcraft Canada, or do any of you want to sell a like new fox river to me? I'd like to have one in a months time. Thanks,

Depending on where you live, it might make sense to get yourself a US mailbox. I live about 3 km from the US border in BC. There is a company called Hagans of Blaine that I use all the time. You pay a yearly fee of $12, and then you pay $1 for each package that you ship there. They are about 5 minutes across the border. I ship all sorts of things from amazon.com there, as it seems all the cool amazon stuff won't ship to canada :)

You could also ask that Canadian company if they would special order the knife.

If you avoid UPS, and stick with USPS you don't generally have to worry about crazy brokerage fee's.

Thanks Tim, I'll use Shiphappens in sumas. Hope there is no difficulty with customs getting a fixed blade into Canada. From what I've read I think it's ok.

I've always just used knivesshipfree.com and never had a problem. I think shipping is 5 bucks to Canada. As long as it comes via USPS / Canada Post you wont get charged any crazy brokerage fees or anything.

Off topic but Hi guys. Knife enthusiast in Aldergrove BC. We must be pretty close to each other. Nice to know as there don't seem to be many of us around this neck of the woods. Always interested in trading, selling, buying.

+1 with knives ship free, use them all the time, no worries with there service and shipping :)

Workwear/Bushcraft Canada can and will order any Bark River knife for you; it says so on their Bark River offerings page. Paul, the store's owner, has ordered me a couple Bark Rivers so far. There is no additional or hidden fees for this service and Paul's customer service is excellent.

Alternatively, KnivesShipFree is also a good option. Actually, it is the best U.S. option for Canadians. They ship using USPS, so no brokerage fees, but HST sometimes cannot be avoided if your package is pulled and assessed. There's also a another border fee for processing/handling or something like that. It's automatic if your package is assesed. I think It's around $5-$8, not too bad. Anyway, Bushcraft Canada is obviuosly your best bet. Good luck.
