I have a Bark River Limited Edition E.L.K. with Blue Glow G10 handles and Black Liners that I'm looking to sell. The E.L.K. was released in 2004 in a very limited run. I don't know exactly how many were made but I read a post where Mike Stewart wrote "I'm only making the limited run. We have delivered 254 and I have a handful of blades left to fill the balance of the dealer orders."

As you can from the photos, the knife is in like new condition and comes with the original leather sheath and box and packaging. The knife has a 3.125" 440C Blade and has an overall length of 7.25".

The E.L.K. has been TRADED and that includes Paypal fees and shipping via. USPS Priority to the continental US. If you are interested in a trade, please see this post http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=638598 . Please PM me or email me at gbrakefield at cfl dot rr dot com if you have any questions. Thanks for looking.

Greg, I'm pretty sure the ELK's are 440C.
Is the box marked 12C27 Sandvik?

The box is not marked and it may very well be made of 440C. I tried to find out some specifics on the E.L.K. and the best I could do was a thread in another forum in which a review of the knife was made - the reviewer stated that the blade was made of 12C27. In a post farther down the thread Mike Stewart joined in and made the comment concerning the number of E.L.K.'s which were made. He didn't say anything about the blade material so I assumed the reviewer was correct.

I apologize for misrepresenting the blade material and stand corrected. Thanks for the link.

No need for an apology, just a simple little thing!
I only asked to be sure because I thought it just might be a REALLY RARE E.L.K.! :D
