I am just looking for a couple opinions on the fox river vs Canadian special. I will be using it mostly for camp duty. Bushcraft, utility and maybe so animal prep. I would get the 3v versions so steel isn't an issue. I like the extra 1/4inch on the fox but the Canadian does have the contoured handles. The blade shape on the fox is nothing different than I have had in the past but the Canadian would be a new style. Just looking for some opinions from users!

Thanks guys!!

Happy memorial day! To all those that stood behind America and believed in the greatness of our country, and were willing to die for the cause; I salute you. We all should celebrate and remember those did die along the way, because without them there is no telling where we could be! Also thank you to the troops that are currently putting their life in danger and often come home to a less than welcoming state!

Both great knives. :thumbup: :cool: :thumbup:

I prefer the Fox River to the Canadian Special, but just by a small margin;

...the finger grooves on the CS are just a little tight for my big meaty fingers,

...the groove spacing on the Canadian Camp Knife is perfect for me.

I do believe that a bigger CS with the handle the size on the Canadian Camp Knife is in the works. ;)

That said, for most folks with normal sized hands the CS is just right. :eek:
