I bought a new bark river gunny last month after tons of good reviews talking about how strong the a2 steel. When I received in mail it was wicked sharp. I forced a patina with vinager and took it to the field this weekend. I dod some very basic wood wittling on texas mesquite just to test it. Tonight as I look at my blade it has a chip in the middle of the blade. I am very dissppointed to say the least. Anybody else ever have this problem with bark river.

I was contacted by bark river president and they will reapir or replace. i will refrain form using my knives on hard mesquite in future. thank you bark river.
