Bark River: Hollow or Solid pins?

I've been eyeing a Bark River Fox River knife for a while as a general camping/surival knife. I'm torn between the hollow pins or solid pins in the handle. Can anyone tell me which is better from an ergonomic perspective?
Does one feel better in the hand?
Does one cause more hotspots/blister than the other?

Thanks in advance,
LJG

I like the hollow pins, for asthetics and ergonomics. I feel that I have a better grip on the handle with the hollow pins and have never had a problem with it causing blisters or rubbing.

I have one of each. Both are fine but the hollow will collect junk if you actually use the knife. I've had to clean blood out of them on more than one occassion. Not that it is that hard, they are no worse than a lanyard hole but just so you know. If you drop it in the mud there is a high probability you'll have a homemade plug or two.

I don't have a Fox River, but I have other BRs. I like the solid pins a little better, they just look better to me I guess. I don't think there would be much of a performance difference, but the hollow pins could come in handy for lashing the knife to a stick or something.

Thanks for all of your advice.
It seems from what you've said that for comfort it really doesn't matter if I go for solid or hollwo pins.

Good point!!!! I may get the hollow pins for just this flexibility. I don't mind having to clean them out once in a while.

thanks again,
