Bark River Hunter Bowie

Just recieved a new bowie, its a Bark River Hunter Bowie. 50-100B 6 inch blade with black micarta Moran style handle. Here are a few quick picts:

Beautiful knife. Do you plan on beating on this knife? With a nice patina it would look awesome.

Even though I know Bark River will bring it back to new anytime, its hard to imagine beating on this one like I would a kabar etc.
