I had the privileged of Mule deer hunting with my adult kids a couple weeks ago in central Oregon. My daughter kicked up the only buck we saw, and he ran my direction. My little Huntsman made quick work of the field dressing, and my Nimravus did a great job butchering the deer back home. My daughter even carried a hind quarter out in her cute little REI backpack, it will never be the same. It was a great time with my 3 kids.
The Huntsman's handle is a little small for my hands, I should have bought a Drop Point Hunter, but the edge was fantastic, and you hardly know the knife is in your pack.
The Nimravus is too large for my tastes for field dressing, but the thin blade made butchering a pleasure. I was thrilled with it's edge and the precision in which I could trim. Both are great knives.
