I do not know how many people are familiar with these knives on this forum
But I have got quite a few lately & they rock!!!!!

A buddy of mine owns Sage Creek Outfitters is the biggest distributor of them & I have been making a ton of sheaths for him. So someone is buying them.

My favorite is the Golok.

My favorite is the Golok.

My favorite is the Gameskeeper since I have three of them. Do you make sheaths for that model or would I have to ship one of them to you?

I bought one this winter to give away as a gift. It was nice and I should have bought two. DLT Trading has a good selection, and AG Russell has some exclusive models.

If I were buying one for myself, it'd be the Mountaineer with the wood handle.

I got my first BRK&T knife yesterday, and WOW my whole knife collection may be in for a reorganizing!

I've got a Woodland in blaze orange G-10 coming in the day after tomorrow, it's getting hard to wait for it now.

BTW I didn't see any Woodland sheaths on your site or Sage Creek - do you make 'em?

I've got the Rogue bowie, the midsize Highland Special, and the tiny Mikro. I like them all, but I tend to reach for the Rogue a lot even if it's bigger than I should be using because it's so much fun to cut with. :)

David, did you drill a bigger lanyard hole in that woodland? Mine is so small that I can't even fit some paracord or nylon rope (aka the Sebenza lanyard) through it??
Very nice sheats by the way!

I like my Woodland as a small sturdy fixed blade, but to me the handle on the Highland is too small for the blade. It should be a 1/2 to an inch bigger. Same for the Northstar & Fox River IMHO.

I don't quite own one yet, but there is a Northstar with orange/black Micarta scales with my name on it in airmail from the UK somewhere right now, so any day and I can add BRKT to my collection! I lurk on their forum at KFC a lot.

Bad ass sheath David!!! Check out the piggy back I made on my site.....
My son won the Golok at an outing about a month ago. Nasty knife! :D

I have a Bark River Highland. The handle is a little on the small side, but not too bad. The blade is awesomely efficient. The sheath is..... why people like David Brown are in business.

The golok looks cool. I didn't know they offered anything like that. I will have to check into this company further. I have heard good things.

Where did you get the Golok? Looks way cool, but I have never seen them before. More info is needed... :D

I have owned a couple of these knives and liked them very much. Don't have one at the moment but I am thinking I might take an orange g10 handled northstar up kilimanjaro as my fb. It would go nicely with my orange rescue 93. If I do then some kydex will definetly be in order.

awesome blades.

I don't usually advertise for other forums. but Bark River has their own forum on another knife forum. They put all sorts of stuff on there that never makes it to their company website. A folder is on the way, cool prototypes, etc. One trip to that website and I was hooked, although I'm still waiting for my Northstar! :grumpy:

I hesitate to post this since it will make finding Bark Rivers more difficult and probably drive up the price. I have several and generally like them all. Bark River is a continuation of the work done by Mike Stewart and company at Blackjack Knives, then Marbles, and now BRK&T. I have several prototypes. Fit and finish is usually excellent and the steel choices (A2, 0170-6, 12c27) are good ones. Add in full convex grinds and you have some nice knives.

Check out the Vagabond Bowie for a nice, big camp knife. So far I have a Fox River, Colonial Patch knife, Canadian Special, Montana Guide, Vagabond Bowie, Micro II, Gameskeeper, and an unnamed prototype. The Golok is up next, and then maybe the sword.
