Anyone have a Bark River Mini-Canadian? What a beautiful little knife! 2.5 inch A2 blade with an over all length of 6". There is a "Mikro" version in the works. It's only 5" long. Both available in Micarta or "stag." The antique bone "stag" handle versions are really pretty.

Anyone have one? How do they feel in the hand?

See the pics over on that other knife forum. (Look in the "Bark River" forum and in the "Outdoor Survival" forum.)

I only buy a new knife once every year or two. I'm not smitten easily. Those two little Bark River knives have me drooling.

Eric,

How do each of them feel in the hand? I'd only get one or the other. They are so close to the same size that its not an easy decision. Is the handle on the Mikro comfortable? Is the Mini signicantly more comfortable? This is going to be a very touch choice!

Hey Scott...

I'm not really sure how to answer that.. I don't want to give you a bad influence either way....
Both are Great feeling knives, and both fit in the hand very well,, even the mikro for a small knife....

I guess what I can say is buy both and return the one you like the least.... or if you can find a dealer at a show or something..

You honestly can't go wrong with either of them..

One other thing..
They Are Wicked Scary sharp....

That sheath for the micro looks great, Normark. As soon as I can get a hold of one of the micros, I'll be getting in touch!

I've been looking at BRK's too, do they come with a sheath? It's not mentioned on their site...
