Off Topic Bark River Preproduction Prototype

If you're asking for value, you need a gold membership on this forum.

We're not a pro-bono valuation service - we're a collection of often expert-level hobbyists that support a community of fellows.

We welcome you, wholeheartedly, but we are not a tool - we are a community. Our existence depends on individual contributions. USN, Bladeforums, and JZD, all live on the individuals that feel it necessary to personally contribute, and this communal support is absolutely vital to the very existence of our discussion forums.

TL/DR: If you want to know what we think X knife should be valued at, you need to contribute to our community. Help keep the servers alive, and we will gladly ply our knowledgebase.

Bark river is known for labeling there steel wrong... Among other drama. They still have die hard fans though. But yea we can't share our opinions about value if your not a gold member.

I was just wondering if anyone knows how much a preproduction prototype might be by bark river.
Bark River has used the limited edition, first production, prototype, and a few others to sell knives. It really doesn't add value for the majority of their knives with extra laser engraving.

Not entirely sure what BRK's history has to do with anything to BRK's fans....who would be the target market for a knife like the one the OP is asking about.

Much like with Malibu Stacy's new hat, fans of any brand will pay a premium for "unique" or "limited" features. That's why there are LEs and sprint runs and flippers.
