I fall in love with a different knife every day. Today, It's the Bark River PSK. It's my most likely choice for EDC. So, in this thread, I would you to post your opinions, experiences, and thoughts, pertaining this knife and Bark River in general.

Thanls to all who reply!

I just made my very own PSK this weekend. Carrying it in a City Pocket Sheath made by Sharpshooter Sheaths for KSF. Its an awesome little cutter and its seen a variety of activities since I made it. The sheath is awesome. It fits right in your front pocket, is barely noticeable, holds a small fixed blade, and has a small pocket so you can fit your Drivers license, a credit card or two, and some cash. Not to mention that my sheath has a professionally hand carved JD logo on it done by Alicia Bailey. She's young and new to the leather carving, but she has a huge talent and is going to come up quick.

What can I say about BRKT except that Mike Stewart is a great guy. The team at Bark River is amazing and they do a phenomenal job making some of the best fixed blades at some of the best prices you can find. Everyone should own a PSK.

I got on a Mini-Northstar kick last year and ended up buying 8 of them (1 for my brother, 1 for my dad, and 6 for me :D). They're great little fixed blades, and I found them reasonably priced here:

One of mine had an issue with one of the handles, so I called Mike, talked to him directly, sent him the knife, and he made a new handle for me and sent the knife back to me within about 10 days. It was a very good experience, and I wouldn't hesitate to deal with him again.

On a performance note, my dad's Mini-Northstar sees the most hard use. He regularly uses it for skinning elk, mule deer, and white tails, and he is consistently impressed with the blade's edge retention and ease of re-sharpening.

This is my fav:
