Hey all, I'm very close to pulling the trigger on a Bark River Bravo 1...... I have no sharpening systems, however, for maintaining a convex edge.
I'm aware of the whole mousepad and sand paper deal, but I was wondering if anyone had an opinion on the strop and stropping compound that is sold by Bark River. Would this be a good way to go?
Should I practice maintaining a convex edge on some cheaper knives before I actually sharpen the Bravo 1?
On another note..... any thoughts on Bark River in general or the Bravo 1 specifically?
