My new (favorite) knife is the BR STS 4. I think its a misnomer to call this one a tactical knife. The drop point 4" blade really lends itself to a good all around camp/hunting/bushcraft. Fit and finish is Bark River standard. Blade 154cm is shaving sharp. Handle is a bit narrow for me and I'm thinking of grinding off the protruding lanyard hole, just because I think it would look better. So far it has performed excellently. I would recommend this one.

I agree. Back in June, I purchased a STS-4 with G10 as my new backpacking knife. Fantastic knife. One of Bark River's best.

I have had my eye on the sts4, but since i have a blackjack tac ops 4, havent pulled the trigger yet. Handle in the tac ops is a little beefier.

Very nice set up, TAH !!

Thanks WEB2. I like this sheath better than the original. Easy in and out and lighter weight. The handle on the STS is narrow, but it is completely comfortable. Not an issue at all.

love barkies ,,i think i woul leave the lanyard hole ,great looking blade ,,thanks

Here you go, broadsword. I did not get the EEP Leather Protection Upgrade. I ordered both and kept the untreated sheath. The EEP is noticeably heavier and I wanted to go as light as possible for backpacking.

Bushcraft AA Sheath
