3" drop point blade of A-2 tool steel at 59-61 Rc. and double quenched with triple tempering for maximum grain refinement. Cryo-treated for maximum stress relief, convex ground and sharpened for a hair splitting edge. The handles are Antique Stag Bone. Weighs 4.0 oz. This knife is marked First Production Run. I had a Woodland and it was nice knife. $85 for a stag handled one seems very reasonable. Mine was micarta and I paid not much less for it. Bark River makes some really nice blades for good prices. I have compared them to some custom knives and I think they are better than many customs.
