anyone know what happened ?
all the outlets have been sold out on almost all the bark rivers .

Most sites seem to have quite a few in stock.

Which model were you looking for?

It could be supply chain related too.

Certain knives you expect to have a run on stock at certain times of the year. In the spring time you get a big run on quality skinning knives and in the summer you get a run on bushcraft knives. Of course now there are more crazy collectors out there than ever, which can really skew things.

Some local outlets that offer a lot of selection might not have very many of the more expensive models they sell because they can't afford to have stock sit around or they can only get so many because they have a smaller share from the production line set aside for them of the available knives by the knife company, so a small run on stock of a model recently featured on a popular YouTube channel can wipe them out pretty quick.

Those strike me as not being their mainstream models so they might produce them in smaller batches less often than others which might explain being out of stock sometimes.

ive been checking DLT anf other sites , but nothing ..
i have a bark river had it for some years, , excellent blade .
could the slow down be due to the corona ?

I've noticed the same. In particular, KSF used to have quite a steady selection of BRKT made Scagels. Then all the sudden there is not one available on their site. That line never seemed to have a high turn over rate, as far as I have seen.

They don't always have all the models in stock. If they don't, you'll have to wait until they do another run, which can take some time. Just a heads up on the pre-orders - I have completed two this year, one in March that arrived in August and another in April that arrived in July. I get my BRK's from DLT and KSF and haven't had any issues with either.
