I'm looking at the BRKT Bravo 1, or the Gameskeeper. One over the other? I know they're close. Will the Gameskeeper fit the leather for the Bravo? Where's the best place to get them? Thanx.

knives ship free.com. I like the Bravo 1 myself. Its sharp as hell and easy to maintain.

knivesshipfree.com here too. Also check out dlttradingcompany.com Either should have what your looking for and a whole lot more!

Derrick is great guy.... i love my Bravo 1 with sharpshooter black lefty sheath coupled with the Psk both matching Green Micarta ! Only down side to Bark River is Too Many Choices on handles.... LOL !

Just recently acquired a Bravo-1 and PSK with matching black/green micarta and I love 'em both. Can't comment on the leather as I have been using the kydex they come in. Got mine from crystalfallstradingcompany.com, the guys there are great to deal with and they keep a pretty fair stock of BRKT stuff on hand. Which ever BRKT you choose you'll be happy they're excellent knives.
Just my 2 cents.

You would do yourself a significant favor to stay away from the kind of people at Bark River & Co.

if I were you i would stay away from any Barkie! its like potato chips just one bite is never enough. I know from personal experience:D

Well, I guess I just stepped in it,I ordered not one ,but two, Barkies!:O Got a Bravo 1 for me and a Mini-North Star for the little lady, both in ivory micarta. Might have to get another for the kid,but she just turned 7. may have to get one and put it away. Don't think she's ready for something that nice yet.;)

I've always heard that they had good quality knives, and from the pictures, I like their work.

So what's up with Bark River? What's wrong with the people there?
