Bark River

I've recently got a couple of "Barkies" and I am really impressed by the build quality and overall fit and finish. The blades are beautifully satin finished with a wicked convex edge. Clearly they make very nice knives, at a very nice price point.

I'm aware that some people have a less than favorable opinion of Bark River, and I'd like to hear why. Something related to their business practices?
