Carbon Fiber Gunny. This knife is in great condition with very minimal use. I think all I used it for was in help with other knives in carving half of a spoon. Sheath is in good shape and has been worn once.
Asking $180 SOLD Shipped and paypaled

I'm new to this forum, so I'm not really sure how this works. I do know that I'd very much like to acquire a Bravo 1, though I'm not convinced that the CPM 154 is the better way to go. I've read several posts that have left me with the impression that the A2 steel might be the more practical route, in terms of edge retention and tendency towards avoiding chipping during hard use. I view this knife as a high end, hard use tool. If not in a dire situation I would rather use an axe to chop and split wood. But if in a tough position, and with limited resources, this knife seems ideal. Whilst I appreciate the resistance to rust that the SS version provides, I also recognize that a simple (if not always tasteful) patina would suffice to prevent unwanted effects of moisture. This would allow me to purchase a new A2 model for less than the asking price of your used stainless offering.

As I imagine you've recognized, I'm attempting to haggle. Again, I'm new to this forum and unaware as to whether or not this is in bad taste, but I'm offering you what I am willing to pay for said listing. $180 shipped and paypal'd.
If this is acceptable to you, I will make the payment tonight.
Cheers.

No it is not exceptable to me. Reason why is because I'm not only selling the knife for $220 but the knife(cost almost $300), EEP sheath(cost $70) and fire steel(cost $45)
Total costing me right at $400 and yo wanter me to sell it for less than half? I or you could send this back to Bark River to get a spa treatment and have a brand new knife. If the knife chips like you say, which you are correct in that SS will chip a little easier than A2, then you send it back in and they do a spa treatment for free.
On top of that I am sucking up the extra $25 in shipping and PayPal fees.

Hello, will try to keep the chat down but BBQ Boy I could not agree more with ya. I spent nearly $300 on mine and thats w/o that fine sheath you have.

Austro Libertarian, this is a steal at this price and one certainly not worth trying to haggle down $40 less for. I certainly don't see it being around for long at this price. Good luck with your sell BBQ Boy!

Austro - if you want to make offers and haggle, do it thru email or PM. Playing cheapskate in someone else's thread is an unacceptable behavior at this forum.

The acceptable behaviors are laid out for you in the rules as posted at the top of this forum and you also agreed when you signed up that you had read them and will abide by them.

Being an exceptional cheapskate is poor form, crapping up someone's thread while doing it is entirely unacceptable.

Gentlemen, there is altogether too much talk going on here.

1. Do not lowball in a thread. If you aren't going to accept the terms stated, take it off-line. Visitor Message, Private Message, or email. Do not interrupt the sale and tell every other potential buyer the knife is not worth the price asked.

There are infractions of increasing severity for this.

2. If someone breaks in like this, do not respond to him. Let it go and Report Post to the moderators. We can deal with it with minimum disruption. You do not have to justify the asking price.
