I got my new Bravo today from a member here.

Very, Very nice knife.

Worst sheath I have ever owned. Why would anyone craft a knife such as this and then house it in such a crap piece of plastic. I have nothing against kydex, but this thing sucks.

Fabulous knife,

Great sheath. The knife's a little... how do I say this? Bleh! They should stop playing around and come out with a 5.5" version already. :D

awesome knife, and your definatly not lying, the sheath it comes with sucks as far on person carrying goes.tough sheath and holds the knife very well but they need to sell it with a better way to carry the knife then that stupid little clip

There's an easy fix- just order the Sharpshooter leather for that puppy, and she'll ride in style.

Yep, the leather sheath from Sharpshooter, while not cheap, is much nicer than the kydex it comes with.

a lotta really nice fixed blades come with sorry excuses for sheaths, expensive and even custom stuff too, but a nice custom sheath isnt that much...........

why?

ya got me, the CRKT companion, a close copy of the polkawski companion, was an excellent SD FB for less than $40 or so, and it came with not one sorry sheath, but 2? go figure, seems to me it woulda been cheaper to have one decent one vs 2 sorry but what do i know lol?

some 'smiths while being really good at blades arent so hot at sheaths, imho some of the very best sheath/knife combo's (in customs stuff) are imho by polkawski and bud nealy, they both seem really good at the knife and the sheath which not all can claim.

Just to be clear on this. The member I bought this knife from (Geek) did an excellent job with the transaction. Great communication and I had the knife in two days.

I love the Bravo. I knew the sheath was lacking when I bought it. Have already ordered a Sharpshooter sheath and fire steel so all is good.

I had originally posted this in WS&S, it got moved by a mod. I just don't want any negativity cast on the seller he did a superb job.

LV.

It's an interesting point, I think that a LOT of sheathes are sub-standard or even totally impractical,a real let-down for a decent knife.

Your right the Bravo 1 sheath sucks, and most of the other BRKT knives come with nice leather pants, why?? Every time I place my B1 into the kydex sheath I further cut the kydex:mad:, lousy design for sure:barf::thumbdn:.
