The blade is made from 75NI8 bandsaw steel with high toughness and has 170 mm in length.
Together with the steel pinned sambar scales it results in a very tough combination.
295 mm overall length.
The sheath is made from Sea Teak wood and semi-tanned leather with a raw hide core.

Your work is consistently stunning. Who are you making knives for? Are these all made to order or are you just having fun creating and building exquisite knives with a burst of inspiration?

RayseM: I am lucky to have a customer base in Europe who(they?) know that I am best inspired
when having no requirements or guidelines.So they just want that I keep them postet whats on my bench.
To keep the fun and motivation alive I stopped accepting orders for my high end knives about 7 years ago, because this always contained some pressure I dont want to deal with anymore.
Besides I have to accept orders for " normal" hunting knives, folders and EDC's....there are mouths to feed and bills to pay

Yes, I am doing this for a long time.Started making knives in 1991, learned the profession as a traditional cutler 1995, graduated as a journey man 1999 and went full time 2000.
I do not have facebook or Instagram because this would overhelm me.The time I had to invest there would keeping me away from the bench,
from family or hiking out in nature...but I admire guys with a much higher computer/Internet potential than I have...they can do it all work, family, hobbys, computer...seems to me they never sleep.
