So I just got my Fallkniven F1 with custom scales by Bark River. I already have a regular F1 and love it so much that I want to see how much of an improvement the micarta scales could add to the equation. All I can say is WOW! It's like everything has come together, a near perfect blade design, quality and now perfect handles that have to be one if the best handling knives I have. Period.

Get one while they are still available. You won't be disappointed. Pics to follow!

wow that looks great. the only thing i didn't like on the F1 was the thin feeling handle, looks like BK took care of that problem now :D
 
That is beautiful. Love my F1. It would be nice to get one of the BRKT customs.
 
I have to say rayban, that is a gorgeous knife. I've got the F1 on the top of my list along w/the Bravo 1. I'm saving right now to get one or the other. How would you go about finding one of the F1's with the micarta?
 
Fallkniven offers a hand made factory custom F1 with Ivory Micarta or Maroon Micarta scales. (you may also find an old stock Black Micarta F1 still kicking around)

The handles on the F1's looked great. I ended up buying a Falkniven ivory micarta F1 back then and not one with BRKT handles. I think they'd sell very well which ever Falkniven models were chosen for this treatment.
 
Not a big fan of Fallkniven's, but they sure look good with those handles. Dresses them up the way they should be.

Just curious if anyone knows- did the Fallkniven-Bark River collaboration go south for some reason?
 
If I had to guess, I'd say one of Bark River's customers like Blue Ridge knives arranged for everything as opposed to Falkniven approaching Bark River or vice versa.
